I love generalizations. They make life so much better.

Why is a white person not allowed to be genuinely color blind? So everyone is colorblind EXCEPT white people because…. they’re white?

This wouldn’t apply to a POC because a POC doesn’t have white privilege.

As a white person I can tell you that we don’t think about race the same way POC think, I never stopped and felt forced to think about my whiteness and how society is white and white is the only normal race and everything else is the other. So when we say that we don’t see race we are using our privilege and erasing all races, cultures and people struggles that are not white. Actually Colorblind isn’t not seeing race, colorblindness is a condition, don’t confuse things.
